2019 Summer Reading Pet Food Drive
Since the Summer Reading Theme was on pets, the library decided to help a shelter by having a contest between cats and dogs on who was more popular. Then when the contest was over all the food and toys went to the shelter.

Contest: New Member of the Library
Our library toad had finally succumbed to injuries. This toad was very loved by all the patrons. He was very greatly missed. So, the decision was made to replace him. The patrons got the opportunity to put in what they would like to name our new library toad. Library Lilly was chosen and she has been very popular and even gets to be dressed up and participates in events.

2019 Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Kids often wonder what happens at night in a library after it closes. Our community kids were able to bring their stuffed animals in for a night in the library. The cameras happen to catch some interesting activities. Checking out books, making copies, and of course some cart racing are some of the activities caught. The next morning when they came to pick up their stuffed animals, they got to see the evidence on film.
